Andrew Clarke

New England Medical Transcription

Andrew Clarke began working in the computer field as a freelance programmer when he was a teenager. His skills came in handy during his naval career and, upon discharge, he embarked on a career in the healthcare field. After initially working in engineering and sales, he began writing custom programs for billing automation and eventually ended up in medical transcription in 2000 when he accepted a position as Vice President of Operations for a small medical transcription firm. Once that firm was acquired and sold in 2007, Andrew began working with NEMT as an IT specialist in platform support and installation, as well as interface creation and implementation. He has been in the IT field for over 30 years and has specialized in medical transcription for the last 14.
